Maya Angelou has Passed Away
« on: May 28, 2014, 02:58:20 pm »
Famed literary author Maya Angelou has passed away at age 86. Here is one article about her.

I started the thread in this section because I think her works made an impact with society and history than just entertainment.  If it still doesn't qualify, I wouldn't get mad at the moderators for moving it.

Still, you will be missed, Maya Angelou.  You were one of the greats of our time.

Rest in peace, Miss Angelou

I was going to say the same.

RIP, Maya, may you fly free in eternity!

I know she did a book signing in Dallas TX back in 2011.  Now I wish I got to meet and greet her myself.  Goes to show to not take moments like that for granted.
