To be honest, "Democrat" doesn't really mean what it used to mean 30 years ago, with most of the party moving more to the right. But I forgot, they're still considered to be "socialist" & "communist" if you listen to the sad excuse of what the Republican party has become.

First, this was a joke, but I forget who started it, and I can't find the report on it.  Second, there's nothing inherently wrong with being from the south.  I'm from Alabama, and, while the people can really suck, especially for a white guy like me who's supposed to be a conservative Christian, but instead is a liberal Buddhist, I still like living here, if for nothing else other than the natural beauty of the state.  And even the 'culture' of the south isn't that bad.  I love the food.  I have no problem with my accent.  And...well...that seems to be it.  But I know all the good fishin' holes here. :p

No, I know Democrats are not socialist or communist.  I was taking a jab at Republicans, but after reading it again, I realize that it might have come off in a way I didn't mean for it to.
