Yes, I realize that. I'm basically saying there really is nothing that will help the strep throat OTC. You generally need antibiotics. You can try to control symptoms by taking your normal tylenol and whatever you take for a sore throat (I guess some cold meds from a local pharmacy along with lozanges). But other than that... you're not gonna cure it without a doctor.

ETA- Of course I'm not saying it can't go away on its own, duh. Just if you want it gone sooner, etc., go to a doctor.

I learnt today (re-learnt? It seemed vaguely familiar) that there's a something called The Decameron.

I also learnt that it doesn't remove David Cameron from anything.
