This is really weird, all these events happening one after the other and being at least semi-related in theme. The letters and bombings could be separate events, of course, but investigators have to take them into consideration.

Yeah it's thought to be from the same person. Wicker envelope posted from Memphis. I got friends in Memphis, have been there many times. It's chock full of nice people and pretty much Dem territory. Whoever is doing this is making me want to strangle them I'm so mad.

Considering that this happened nearly simultaneously with the bombings, I'm willing to bet the same person/people. Considering that both Obama and a Republican senator received them, I'm thinking that it wouldn't be a radical Republican or Democrat, but more of a "centrist" who hates everyone equally. They might still be a radical left or right-winger, but someone who's gone so far over the edge as to view both parties as equally bad or evil or too lenient or whatnot.

I dunno if these are related.  My suspicion on the ricin letters is that it's in response to gun control, given the Republican senator's support for the issue.

I'm thinking the same thing, since this is the most obvious common thread between the two right now.

Whoever this person is, though, they've gone far beyond the typical conservative gun nut tea partier, though.  They're pretty much on a level of their own.

So I'm thinking this isn't the same person as the bombing, then, because this "KC" has basically claimed the letters sent, but the bomber hasn't claimed the bombing.

I could be wrong though.
