Nice. I can confirm from recent experience that there are few things more satisfying than a hardware upgrade. So shiny! So many frames! It's glorious.

After some more testing, I can easily get Assassin's Creed Syndicate up to 60fps at 1080p. I can't crank it as high as it will go without sacrificing an ultra smooth framerate, but I am still amused by the fact that my computer takes one of the nicer looking games on the market like a champ, regardless.

I got Shadowrun Dragonfall working on Linux. I had a bit of trouble because apparently I have to individiually change the settings in all the install files to allow them to work.

I finally got around to trying out Yandere Simulator.

Just read something pretty cool. Apparently, snow globes are the collectable of choice in New Vegas because the world they contain can never be touched directly, yet the owner can still flip them upside down and shake them around at will. Much like House's own relationship with Vegas and to a lesser extent the rest of the Mohave.

RX 480 get! And now I've also got super bright lights inside my case. Which would be way more distracting if it wasn't in the computer hole in my desk. I can't wait to see what this little monster can do.

EDIT: So after a quick test with Final Fantasy XIV, I peaked out at 80fps. With all of the settings completely cranked to 11. I love this video card.

I see London, I see France...

Well, I've finally moved my Pokemon from Black, X, and OR over to Moon.  Now I just need to finish Red Version and get the 'mons imported from there.

Grabbed a PS2 emulator and GTA: Liberty City Stories. I have to say, that game is so much better with camera controls.

Got Sunless Sea! I used to enjoy Fallen London but the 'wait for you actions to refill' mechanic was not good for me, really glad to get back into that universe

Incidentally, this is literally the first game I've ever paid money for on Steam.

Fallout 2 becomes infinitely more hilarious when you have one Intelligence.

Aren't you actually too stupid to even hold a conversation at that level?

It's great isn't it? Also, kind of impressive when you consider that there's basically an entire 2nd script's worth of dialogue just for stupid player characters.

I know the owner of the brothel in Klamath refuses to deal with me...the bartender, too.  Though, how he can tell the difference between me and one of his customers is another question entirely.

Having Intelligence below 3 (or 2 can't remember where the limit is) prevents you from handling many situations with diplomatic solutions but it does usually allow trading at least.

There are some funny reactions from people like Lynette, Torr and Marcus if I remember correctly.

Stellaris? Stellaris. Stellaris!
