Guess I'll be watching They Live tomorrow.
-
Now I'm sad.
-
As someone who never followed wrestling and didn't see They Liveuntil recently, I didn't really know who this guy was until I played Saint's Row 4. But he was pretty funny, so I think I liked him.

Shocking loss, especially after losing Dusty Rhodes last month. RIP Roddy.
-
In his honour I'm gonna kick the shit out of a dude in an alleyway for over 5 minutes.
-
Just when you think you have all the answers, he changes the question.
Ironbite-RIP Hot Rod.
-
As tribute to him, Rowdy Ronda Rousey dedicated her match to him.
Ironbite-34 seconds later her opponent was wishing he was still alive.
-
Looks like the aliens finally came for Nada.

I'm very late to the party but I wish both Roddy & Dusty well in that "Great Squared Circle In The Sky".
As a kid, I used to watch WWF wrestling a lot and lost interest just before that "Attitude Era" stuff started. I grew up with the mostly family-friendly high-flying live-action Saturday Morning Cartoon of Piper, Rhodes, The Hulkster, Andre, Macho Man, Junkyard Dog, Sgt. Slaughter, Nikolai Volkov, Brutus Beefcake, The Killer Bees, The British Bulldogs, Demolition, etc. I even enjoyed the early 90's stuff with earlier versions of The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels and Triple H back when he was a snooty fop heel Hunter Hearst Helmsley.
It was like a Saturday Morning Cartoon come to life. It was colorful and goofy. One could pretend for a brief moment to believe "Hey, that guy really has magic Voodoo powers/is undead/whatever". It was mindless fun for the whole family!
Those WWF Wrestler ice cream bars were DELICIOUS, too!....

....I loved those things! When the ice cream truck came along, I would order one.
Then, I lost interest, then, soon after, The Attitude Era began.
Nowadays, I think Pro-Wrestling is really dumb. However I have a big nostalgic soft-spot for the early days I look upon the 1980s-very early 1990s with fondness.
