I don't think I'll be able to run this campaign, guys. In two weeks, I'm going to be taking 13 credit-hours, working occasionally, involved in two campus organizations, running a Pathfinder campaign IRL, and playing in a D&D 3.5 campaign.

I might be able to take over for Random Guy, if anyone's still interested. I've got DM experience with 4E and 3.5E. I'd take months to prepare, though, because I'm that kinda of DM. I also need to brush up on the rules.

I'd be in for  3.5 whenever you're ready

Aye, 3.5's the version I'm most familiar with, so it shouldn't be too bad.

The last time I played D&D the books looked like this:

And just to bump my nerd cred, Ed Greenwood worked in the public library across from my public school and I even played in a couple of the weekend tournaments/workshops to teach people how to play he put together.

This was before his Forgotten Realm days.

I can't believe how long ago that is.  :'(

Edit: actually, from what I just read, it was before he sold the rights to TSR and it went big but not before he started writing about it in Dragon magazine.

Also with pathfinder I've noticed it doesn't have action points from ebberon.

If you guys really wanted to just have some quicker fun, you could use the D&D Next playtest kit. After all, WotC could use the feedback.
