I don't know, I've met plenty of fan fic writers in their 20s, 30s, and even 40s. One of the most popular porn writers (also cheesiest porn and most childish behavior) I know of is in her 30s.

True. I prefer my erotic fanfic with a side of romance, myself. As for the rest, meh. I don't like professional porn stars. Too much makeup, too much "exactly like everyone else" and too little uniqueness. Only professional porn I like is (and I'm sure everyone will be really surprised by this /sarcasm) Suicide Girls. Other than that, amateur stuff is so much better. Actual people, who aren't made of plastic. I'd say that's much more fantastic.
