Trump has sued people over mentioning the fact he defaulted on their deals and ran away from any possible penalties.

I am confused, was the challenge to prove that trump is indeed human or the spawn of an orangutang?

Similarly based on why Maher presented that challenge, it was because Trump refused to accept Obamas birth certificate as real, hence wont Maher be able to argue against the certificate Trump provided as well?

Thought 1: Can we get Arpaio to do a printout on his bubble jet and prove this one's a forgery too?

Thought 2: If it's legit, and Trump is not half Orang-Utan, WTF's his excuse now? You could cut him some slack when you weren't sure if he was a card carrying member of homo sapien sapiens. Now he's got more huff and bluster than a menstruating baboons anus, but no genetic fallback - nature 0, nurture -1000.

Thought 3: Someone should offer Trump a bajillion googol-dollars and an ass-clown gold merit badge if he and he alone can prove that contrary to fact, the word gullible is indeed in the dictionary. We all know it isn't. Its a made up shibboleth to dupe rubes.

And according to Trump's lawyers it does not matter if he meant it to be a joke. As long as Trump "believed" Maher was serious then he would have to pay. If that is true then it could set a very weird and dangerous precedent. (Then again I don't know much about laws and lawyers, much less so about U.S. laws.)
