Haha.  No, I kid.  However, Alf is back in syndication on The Hub (aka The Pony Channel).  I've seen a few episodes, and I've quite enjoyed it.  Even after all these years, the show has a charm to it.

They were cardboard discs with cartoon pictures on them. You could collect them and swap them with people and there was some kind of game that involved stacking them and throwing a plastic disc at them. I used to get mine with Chupa Chups lollies.

Are we even talking about the same pogs here?  :-[

Me too. I even had the board game, but I still never played with them. I just used to play swaps with my brother, and trick him into giving me all the pretty holographic ones.

I did a lot of trading with my sister.  Threw most of them out, but kept the nicer metal ones.  They make good paperweights.
