Joining IS(IS) is haram according to the British muslim leaders

British muslim leaders have issued a fatwa against the IS(IS) declaring them heretics and joining them haram. For those interested, somebody tweeted the full text of the fatwa.

 As usual, this will probably go completely unnoticed by the people who demand the moderate muslims denounce the extremists.

Yeah.  Everyone talks about the fatwa against Salman Rushdie, but hardly anybody seems to mention the various fatwas against terrorism.

Because it's easier to stigmatize muslims rather than accept that they are regular people, with good guys and bad eggs like everywhere else. Most christians I meet are good people, and I'm not about to let a few idiots tarry their image by acting in reprehensible ways. It ain't good to paint with a wide brush.

Anyone else read this as harem first?

Join ISIS and get fucked by the leader... probably not far off the mark actually.

I take it that ISIS wanting to destroy Muslim holy sites is the cause of this.
