This has nothing to do with free speech. This is a simple application of enforcement of rules on specific websites. Alex Jones didn't follow the rules, so he got booted off. It's that simple.

That's like saying the police arresting a man for murder is "censorship" because that man happens to have a news show.
There is no plague more evil and vile to watch spread than the plague that is the Von Habsburg dynasty.

The issue here is that though most countries have exceptions in freedom of speech for things like "shouting fire in a crowded theater" or hate speech these things are not always handled equally.

Jones has caused people to be harassed by giving targets to his crowd of fans. He had part in making the "Pizzagate" thing spread which has already cause one deranged guy with a gun to go around shooting in a pizza place.

It could just be that since the laws concerning freedom of speech are written from government vs citizen point of view this is a different matter but the issue with Jones is obviously between citizens and any censorship on him would be based on the things he has said about other US citizens. In Finland for example, the laws concerning freedom of speech are specifically from that "what if citizens are saying bad things about each other or inciting hate" pov and setting limits for what goes too far.
No matter what happens, no matter what my last words may end up being, I want everyone to claim that they were:
"If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you could possibly imagine."
Aww, you guys rock. :)  I feel the love... and the pitchforks and torches.  Tingly!

The next domino to fall: TJ Kirk (aka The Amazing Atheist) made a joke on Twitter mocking the New York Times' decision to hire Sarah Jeong, and was summarily banned. (Note that Twitter has not banned Alex Jones.)

It doesn't concern you, Sister, that kind of absolutist view of the universe? Right and wrong determined solely by a single all-knowing, all powerful being whose judgment cannot be questioned and in whose name the most horrendous acts can be sanctioned without appeal?

Being required by someone else’s religious beliefs to behave contrary to one’s sexual identity is degrading and disrespectful.

Wanna know why Alex Jones isn't kicked off Twitter?  He and Jack are buddy buddy.

Ironbite-he recently called Jack an ally in his war.
