Linked because it gets rather gorey. Apparently this comic was made for kids from 4th grade up. Uh... who thought this was a good idea?

I love the implication that falling off your bike and hitting your head from a couple feet drop has the excessive force to open your skull completely and show your brains.

Scare tactic comics are the best.

Edit: The blind spot one is basically what happened to me but only broke one leg and I wasn't riding in a blind spot.  The jackass was just to old to pay attention properly.(upper 80's)

Maybe not cut your head open, but depending on how fast you are travelling it could do some serious damage.

Oh WOW.  Some of the accidents are so blatantly unrealistic.  Yeah, you could get seriously injured if you're an idiot while riding your bike, but some of this is just over the top.

Not even cut.  It shows half the kid's skull gone, like it had vaporized on impact.

Eh, it's so far over the top it's practically in orbit, but that's the point. It's supposed to shock kids into thinking seriously about safety. At 4th grade kids are way past the age at which cartoon gore will scar them for life, so I'm perfectly ok with this.

The third one i dunno the fault on that one was the guy opening the car door should have closed it again. 
Also damn seeing as one minor accident tends to fatally wound everyone I am guessing that the hospital must be overcrowded
