It's even better when the ATF agent (you know, the guy who's supposed to be part of an organization that studies and regulates firearms) tries to put the magazine in backwards.

Maybe he'd have an excuse with like, a handgun or a P90 or something weird. But the silhouette of the M16 and AK-47 are both extremely recognizable. How the hell do you fuck THAT up?
