Is that "Free Jahar" nonsense still going on? If so, why?
He's a prettyboy who was apparently heavily influenced by his brother into terrorism. So people have a warped view of him as some innocent who was bullied into such crimes and deserves forgiveness and rehabilitation instead of punishment.
Or worse, they get so baffled by his pretty looks (he doesn't look like a stereotypical terrorist) that they honestly can't believe that this cute guy could ever mutilate dozens of people and think that he must have been set up, a fall guy.
