Agreed, Veras. I'd rather they stop altogether, but that is a bright spot.

Hopefully the next one will somehow have inverse casualties.

Well ya'll be happy to know this wasn't over a movie, or the president, or a fast-food restaurant's policies on homosexuality.

It was over an eviction notice.

Ironbite-dumbass couldn't pay rent so instead now pays with his life...

Since the number of casualties amounts to about 2 or 3, it feels inaccurate to call this another "mass shooting" like some news sites are doing.

Well, this latest shooter won't be able to enjoy any of the media attention himself, considering he's dead now.

As for the reason why it seems so many shootings are happening this year... I don't think we'll ever have a clear cut and dried reason for it. It could be a combination of wanting the same kind of attention as the guy in Aurora is getting, nutballs who think the end of the world is coming in a few months and so are trying to do their own twisted version of mercy killings, maybe an increase in the rate of mental disorders of some kind that causes delusions or hallucinations...

Yeah, I dunno. I'm just thankful it wasn't 10+ people killed again. Still sad, but it could have been a LOT worse.
