I'm caught up on Gaim, actually. ... I do need to go back and catch the last few episodes of Buddyfight, though.
I'm an ep behind on Gaim, had trouble aligning schedules with my watching partner. Need to catch up on Buddyfight too, even if you could make a drinking game out of how often Toccata and Fugue gets played.
Or how often the word "Buddy" is used.
Or how Gao pulls a win out of his arse despite the odds or the drama.
Those are expected due to genre conventions. Abuse of Bach on an organ isn't.
Gao doesn't have a single loss under his belt.
At a similar point in time, Yami Yugi had more than one loss.
Seriously, Gao just can't seem to lose, no matter the skill of his opponent.
The closest thing that can be called a loss is when he acted like an asshole in a match, which was also the one time he won on the
first dang turn.
And now he's mastering multiple types of decks, too.
Don't get me wrong, I like this show, but it's getting hard to KEEP liking it.
