My best friend and I are planning a road trip for our birthdays, since they are a week apart in June. I think we're gonna end up taking a road trip to San Francisco together :D

So I was home for a few hours yesterday, and got to meet our new neighbors that moved in two houses down.

They're middle-class, white, straight, 2 kids and a third on the way. Classic conservative-approved America, right?

They're second-generation Wiccans, and are completely open about it. It's just nice to see the "creepy weirdo witch" stereotype get struck down.

Got contact info that may allow my band to play at a shopping mall. Okay, maybe not cuz, y'know, death metal isn't "family friendly", but still...

I'm gonna see if I can use this contact, as well as a possible contact I've got at this property I've been working for for the past few months, to see if I can start doing some booking/promoting for local bands. I've got contacts in some unorthodox places, which I'm hoping will lead to some interesting business ventures.

Rockabilly Zombie Weekend is absolutely fan-fucking-tastic. I only wish it were longer, because it was shot, edited, scripted, and acted brilliantly. Everyone was ecstatic, all of us hugging and cheering in the lobby after the screening (we had to open 5 theaters for it).

I'm going to buy the DVD, but I almost want to find a pirated copy right now so I can watch it again and again. It's that good.

My cat decided to run away last night.  She's declawed (from a previous owner), and doesn't seem to understand what fear is, so I was really worried.

Someone found her this afternoon and called me.  She has been getting alternating petting and scolding since.

Pre-order bonanza today! Picked up my pre-orders of Dead Space 3 and Crysis 3, and also pre-ordered Destiny. Also got my pre-orders of the new Suffocation album and the remaster of Jungle Rot's debut album. :D

Went to see the "premier" of Game On! down at a bar in Orlando (we took over one of the rooms and their TV and sound system), since it's not airing in the United States and otherwise we wouldn't get to see it. Got through 10 of the 26 episodes, with us planning one or two more similar events so we can all see the entire first season.

Oh yeah, it's airing in 146 countries.
