I had two very weird ones in the same night.

1. I don't remember most of it, but it ended with a guy waking up inside a metal tube, upside down, which turned out to be a miniature crematorium.  He was then cremated alive (The dream then switched to an outside view of the tube, but his screams were all too clear.

2.  I was on a motorboat with a friend when we spotted some people waving to us from the water.  It turned out their boat sank and they need a lift back to shore.  I dropped into the water to help them when one guy tossed me all three of his babies.  I caught two but dropped the third into the water.  I dove under and saved it, but I dropped another.  As I struggled to keep all three above water (they were alive but coughing from my dropping them), I asked the guy for help.  His reply;  "It's okay.  They taste better when they're dead."

I was so disgusted, I yelled to my friend for help, and we piled into the boat (with the babies).  When ************ asked for my help to pull him into the boat, I replied, "Nah, I'll bet you taste better when you're dead."  We then headed to shore.

Honestly, I fell asleep watching hockey, as I had nearly every night for the past week, and I never dreamed anything as twisted as those before!

The other night I remember taking a shower with eight other people. Physically possible somehow.

Last night, I dreamt that a pervy guy was trying to kill me, so I hid from him on a water slide.

So last night I dreamed that I bumped into some guy I new in high school, and he was so ecstatic to see me that he actually offered to buy me lunch.

It would seem that my subconscious is incredibly narcissistic.

I had a dream a few nights ago that involved Shy being ecstatic because he had his own princess store.

An interesting dichotomy: I fell asleep imagining myself in my boyfriend's arms, and my brain decided I was overdue for a nightmare. In fact, it Inceptioned that shit, and I had a nightmare within a nightmare. But... here's the thing... my nightmares are always my most intriguing dreams! They tend to have overarching plots, and this one is certainly no exception. It's such a good story, I'm fascinated instead of frightened... though I am pissed that a) I didn't dream about my bf >:( and b) I woke up with a wicked headache. Okay, here we go:

I was in the hospital with my mother. I don't recall it being for a serious condition, but it was one of those "got sick/hurt on the weekend, and the clinics are all closed" deals. That said, the hospital is rather busy, and I'm stuck in the waiting room for quite some time. In fact, my brain's emotional complex fed me all the boredom I typically feel when in an actual waiting room at this point. A Russian spy (don't ask) took interest in me and started chatting it up with me. He had the stereotypical broken English but was friendly enough, and we had an overall pleasant conversation. I think my brain glossed over what was actually said, because it was unimportant. So, I go back to some room, finally, but here's the thing - they were so busy, a nurse got confused and started treating me for something I didn't have. They managed to catch it just barely in time, because had they not, I could have been administered a lethal dose of some drug, since I didn't need it.

Next scene, we're out in the waiting room screaming bloody murder at the staff, because... I could have been killed by their fuckup! The nurse in question was a total bitch about it too, basically implying that I should have said something before being hooked up to an IV. Finally, I have a seat in the waiting room for... some reason, and I pull out the laptop I used to have a few years ago. It was a POS and it blew up. Anyway, I open Instant Messenger (which I never had IRL but ok) And my Russian Spy friend contacts me. He says that one of the body bags in the hallway to my left has two bodies in it, and one of them isn't exactly dead yet. He essentially implies that the bitchy nurse who almost killed me has been dosed with a paralytic, meaning she's fully aware, but unable to move or speak. Essentially, the spy put me in the exact same position as she was in before; in charge of someone else's life. She's at risk of being carted off for cremation along with the bodies, and I have the option of telling someone about it, or doing nothing and letting things happen. I tell him that I'm sorry, but I just can't let someone else die. So I go to check on the cart... and it's gone. Russian Spy is back in person and he tells me that "he may have fucked up our game", meaning she was carted off before I had the chance to make my choice. So I go screaming to a guard about it, but it's too late. She's been burned.

The guard consoles me and tells me there was nothing I could do at this point, and basically sweet-talks me into looking forward to going home and just moving on from this point. Of course, by this point Russian Spy is nowhere to be seen. So, I go home, and finally go to bed. And fall asleep. Then I have a brief nightmare... in my dream... of the nurse screaming as the fire incinerates her. As I wake up from that nightmare in-dream, I also wake up IRL.

I have to say, I'm actually rather interested here. As horrifying as it is, combining multiple phobias, it's also one of the more intriguing dreams I've had in a long time. Not only because of its plot, but its themes: I love the Saw-esque role-reversal game, the moral choices to be made (and in fact, in Fridge Logic, telling someone that I just randomly know there's a living person in a body bag would make me rather... suspicious, to the point I could get implicated, meaning it might be better to just go home), and of course, any time I have a dream within a dream, something I haven't had since I was... about 10... always worth mentioning.

I just woke up from a dream in which Spoony (from TGWTG) was my neighbor. He was some kind of engineering genius, and he kept coming over to show me all his cool new inventions. One of them was a two-wheeled, motorized hospital bed. The wheels were in the center of the bed, and it was somehow perfectly balanced. The steering wheel was a giant fiberglass cheeseburger.

After he drove the bed over and we marveled at it for a minute, we both suddenly decided that it was time to finally kill GLaDOS (from Portal). So we started digging underneath my driveway, and everything was kind of MineCrafty in the sense that we were digging blocks of sand. We entered some metal room under the driveway where a GLaDOS-like machine was, and we killed it. It wasn't GLaDOS, though. It was a bunch of cores hanging from a wire.

After that things kind of faded into that weird mesh of dream and reality you sometimes get when you start waking up.

Last night was an odd one. Basically, I had work today, which requires a 4:30am start. On work nights, I'm always terribly paranoid about not getting to sleep until around 2 in the morning. As such, I managed to dream that I was mostly lying in bed and not being able to fall asleep. The really fun part was that when I woke up, I didn't realise that I had actually slept and spent a good 5 minutes hoping something would kill me and prevent the impending misery before I realised that no I don't own an original mini that I keep in a shipping container at my Grandma's place, I didn't watch Star Wars in an attempt to fall asleep last night, and no, there is no scene in which Darth Vader rapes a stormtrooper, nor does he ever speak in a stereotypical upper class British accent.

My mind is a strange, strange place.
