Considering I hate Ann Coulter worse than I hate Sarah Palin (and I still hate Sarah Palin a lot), I'm not even in the mood to click the video :S

Would someone with a lot more patience than I provide a summary of the video?

Seconded. Plus, I can't use youtube right now.
I'd be more sympathetic if people here didn't act like they knew what they were saying when they were saying something very much wrong.

She actually makes a valid point about how people in the Democratic Party can be ostracized and people in the Republican party cannot.

Really? I thought the Democrats were more accepting and the Republicans were trying to weed out the RINOS.

That's... uncharacteristic of her.

Are we actually talking about Ann Coulter here?  Did she hit her head?

Well, conspiracy nuts, you got your proof right here.  The reptilians have invaded.  Ann Coulter made sense.

I read that as "did she shit her head" and wondered if it made a noise like a cork coming out of a bottle

Just reading the summaries, I'm calling "bullshit". Republicans do so ostracize people! They call them RINOs, remember? That said, I haven't seen the actual video because I hate Ann Coulter and refuse to watch it.

I don't think that's what she was saying, Eniliad.

I think she was saying that in our current culture, Democrats are treated as acceptable targets, and Republicans are not.

...Which is entirely strange because she's the one who spent most of her career mocking and deriding democrats.

In other words: It’s not about internal ostracism—Democrats or Republicans shunning their own membership—but the ability of individuals in certain parties to recover from various social blunders, gaffes, and scandals with generally positive PR?

(Coulter also makes me sick, so sign me up for the “Rather Not Watch the Clip If I Don’t Have To” list as well.)

Are you talking about stuff like how Weiner was pressured to resign, but Newt cheated twice and is still in the game?

I have actually heard her make a little sense in the past, but then turn around and make a stupid conclusion about it. This time, what she said was halfway informed, and she ended it with a pretty good punchline.  Maybe she's finally learning a bit about how the world actually works.
