Ohioans confused about bin Laden’s death

According to a PPP poll of likely Ohio voters, 15 percent of Republicans in Ohio think Romney is “more responsible” for bin Laden’s death than Obama, while 47 percent of Republicans are “not sure” whether Obama or Romney deserves more of the credit.

Did I miss something? What the hell did Romney do in bin laden's death?  Are 15% of Ohioans mentally challenged?

How can people be this stupid?   Unless Romney was secret leading the SEAL team, I can't even see how he could have had anything to do with it.

This is a special kind of new low.
It would be ok if for example they believe that bush had more to do with Osamas death than Obama, but to think Mitt Romney had anything to do with it is a fail of such monumental proportions that my brain hurts just thinking about it.

This really makes the fact free bubble all the more apparent. After all Obama has been parading Osamas death around to score points to such a degree I am surprised they didn't just string up his body in front of the white house and have it dangling behind him during speeches. However, despite their constant politicizing of the event, republicans in Ohio still think Mitt Romney had something to do about it? How? It makes no sense. Mitt Romney couldn't possibly have had anything to do with it, Hell I think he was busy spending an obscene amount of money to win the republican primaries at the time so he really couldn't have done anything thing. How does this kind of stupid and misinformation happen?
