Title: Not even Republicans wants Republicans in office right now

Quote
A major freak out is occurring on the right as a new poll released by a Republican polling company has found that 20% of Republicans are more likely to vote for Obama.

The poll done by Republican polling firm Wenzel Strategies for World Net Daily found something similar to my own recent analysis of state polling data that the 2012 election is beginning to look like a replay of 2008. The Wenzel/WND poll turned up the surprising statistic that no matter who the Republican nominee is, one fifth of the Republican voters surveyed are leaning towards voting for President Obama.

Not surprising. The current crop of republicans are a fucking joke. Serves 'em right for pandering to the teabaggers.

And I bet the conservatives will say the data is skewed or modified in some way.

It's well-known that facts have a liberal bias.

It's well-known that facts have a liberal bias.

True but it doesn't help that some facts will be conscrewed for political or religious reasons (mostly to maintain control).

I do find this ironic. Guess the republicans that are sane are waking up.

The only one in the crop I could have even seen that would have given me a few moments pause was Huntsman, but hey, he DARED to work for his country when a DEMOCRAT was in office. And he can speak Chinese! Dear Lord in heaven!

Twenty percent of Republicans intend to do something intelligent? G'wan!

Well, considering the choice - Newt "Your Friendly Neighbourhood Family Values Philanderer" Gingrich, Mitt "Kanye West's Ego Without the Talent or Blackness" Romney, Ron "Return the US to 1918 Settings Regardless of Whether It Makes Sense" Paul, and Captain Assfroth, Fighting for Lies, Injustice and the Way of the Crazies - it's sort of amazing that the other 80% aren't simply "not sure".

My parents are for Santorum because they're homophobic Catholics and he says what they like to hear.

Hardly. Obama is pretty much a moderate conservative.

Which makes him a basic moderate in the States. We're so far right, it's depressing.  :-\

I'm starting to think that the difference between Liberals and Conservatives is closer to Old Conservatives (the ones that value rights) and Neo Conservatives (the ones that value unchanging)

I was so keen to use the phrase "Captain Assfroth" that I forgot to insert a well-placed "more of". Still, given his recent wins and his current polling lead, he's probably up to Major Assfroth by now.

Not really. Paeloconservatives may not want to police the world, but they sure do hate gays, abortion, and taxes.

Hardly. Obama is pretty much a moderate conservative.

Maybe in some parts of the world.  In the US he is solidly liberal.  You have to remember he can't get everything he wants passed.  He has to get it through a congress that has a number of moderates and conservatives in it.
