true Ironbite.

I just don't want you to make fun of white trash by comparing them to teabaggers, that's all.

Who can seriously think this would be a good idea? How can a senator sit in their office and think that they really need to relax domestic abuse laws. How does one even think this up unless they themselves were recently arrested for domestic violence.

This just completely boggles my mind. I just don't get it.
How on earth do these people get elected into power and still get support?

NH doesn't really have a lot of career politicians; the laws tend to discourage that because they're paid $100 a year plus gas fees. So you get volunteers, usually people who have the time to go to the state house once a month or more. That means retirees (those who look back on better times) and unemployed people (who probably aren't terribly well educated). Which creates a perfect storm of clusterfuckery.

This...

This is...

And yet you know they'll be the first to complain if some woman shoots the man who repeatedly abuses her.
Matthew 22:39 "And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." God's own "don't be a dick" rule.

Lithp and Vene really need to have some kind of confusing sexual encounter where Vene spends the entire session lovingly insulting Lithp's technique, then cums on his face, ruffles his hair, says, "You're all right, kid!", and then punches him in the nuts.

I don't understand what the Tea Party would have to gain from this.

And the title for this thread should "definitely not for ANYBODY" Although then, every thread about them would be named similar.

I agree here. Domestic violence can and does happen to everyone.

Question, if the girlfriend or wife's relative finds out and beats up the bf/husband, and the bf/husband presses charges, can the police arrest the person without seeing the incident?

Whenever I hear a politician speaking strongly for or against abortion, all I hear is, "I have no idea how to fix the economy!"

In many cases they are one and the same.

Wanna know why?  Up in New Hampshire, there's a couple of bills up for consideration.  One is an amendment to defund Planned Parenthood and weaken domestic violence laws.

Under a new Tea Party backed bill, if this goes through, the cops have to witness Domestic Violence before an arrest can be made.  That's right folks.  If you get beaten by your husband/boyfriend/fucktoy/partner/whatever, they may not get arrested.  Cause that's how the Tea Party rolls.

Ironbite-the message is clear...don't have sex outside of marriage and stay in the kitchen if you're a woman in New Hampshire

and yet I am certain that you can find plenty of tea party women who will happily support and advocate for all of these things.

Cons working against their own interests is practically a cliche now.  Or is it  a trope?

You know, "weakining" is an understatement.  They're practically making the laws unenforceable, and therefore useless.

Isn't it funny that their most prominent champions have all been women?

Ironic. Misogynist women are the worst kind of misogynists. Traitor scum!

I feel sorry for them, internalized oppression is the most insidious kind.
From international relations to religious rivalries, from marriage to athlete's foot, whatever the problem a fundy's first solution is usually violence.

Eventually it will be mandatory to leave no bruises.
I am an old man, and I've seen many problems, most of which never happened.
