nuns in lingerie!Around 50 protesters demonstrated outside the Fresh gallery Friday evening bearing placards reading "For a unified and Catholic Spain" and "God Exists".
"Respect the sacred, no to blasphemy," they shouted.
"They don't dare with the Muslims," said 78-year-old Michel Soto, a retired engineer. "The dare with us because we are pacifists."
The article goes on to say that someone threw bottles of petrol through a museum skylight in retaliation, though fortunately the fire didn't spread very well. There was also a petition to the mayor to shut down the event, which was quickly denied. I gotta say, I find it hard to see a mayor in the US doing the same thing, outside of LA or NYC perhaps, so it's nice to see that response.
