Title: The general make fun of RR thread.
Post by: clockworkgirl21 on May 30, 2013, 09:59:18 pm
Why in the world was Obama elected? (http://rr-bb.com/showthread.php?186210-Why-in-the-world-was-Obama-elected)

Quote
Another reason he was re-elected, I believe, was a tremendous amount of voter fraud. I don't have any "facts" to base my feeling on, but I think the fraud we heard about was only the tip of a gigantic iceberg

I have no facts to base this on, but I think Obama won because used his mind control powers to make people vote for him.

Quote
Obama was elected because God put him place to serve his purpose.

Well then, you were voting against God's will, so off to Hell you go.

I hope we'll have some good comments after the Supreme Court (if we're lucky) decides California can't ban gay marriage.

What I've been waiting for!

Quote
Very soon, they will come after the churches. Which road will your church follow?

a. The money road to tax exception
b. The road to the cross

Soon there will be no hiding in the sand.

Churches don't really have any legal right to marry people. You can get married in a church all you want, it isn't legal until you get a license from the state. So nothing is changing.

Quote
~The Supreme Court's decision will have an impact like as Roe v Wade and will not be overturned.
~Churches will be forced to perform same sex marriages.
~First responders will be forced to attend Gay Pride parades.
~Employees will be forced to attend sensitivity training or lose their job.
~Pastors will be jailed for preaching against homosexuality.
~Christians will feel the scorn of this culture unlike any time in the US history.
~Christians will be scrutinized by insurers and will be denied benefits.
~Christians will be unfairly taxed through an IRS audit of the church.

My favorite is the first responder one. Funny, they aren't bitching about emergency personnel on standby for other things they might not believe in. It's almost as if you have to do your job regardless!

Quote
Remember that Noah had to face his tormentors for 100 years before God sent the flood.

So after all this "The Judgement Day is Coming!" and "God will not be mocked!" crap we still have to wait 100 years to see anything happen?

Quote
...from the posts, apparently prop 8 - the people's will, was overturned. Correct?

You bitched when states voted to allow gay marriage although that was the will of the people. It's as if you just want gay marriage banned whether it's the will of the people or not, eh?

People still marry in churches? How often anymore?

Oh, yeah, the rest of the world never changed for them.

Of course they fail to realize the first amendment prevents the government from forcing churches to perform SS marriages.  They'll just have to suck it up when people start attending churches that have no problem performing them.

I predict the activist-ization, in a good way, of main stream Churches such as the Episcopal, Unitarian, United Church of Christ, Congregationalist, Presbyterian, etc. etc. when zealot fundies come out to picket gay marriage ceremonies being held in those places.

A stunning admission on the part of the pro-abortion crowd. They usually try to cloak themselves in the women's rights movement.

I saw the video they were referencing, and it was difficult as hell to hear ANYTHING over the people singing that godawful hymn (pun intended). The only person who clearly said "hail Satan" was a girl who said it directly into the camera.

To me, it sounds like they took that one girl and applied her trolling to all of the protesters.

About the abortion one, I'm trying to find it, but I could've sworn I remembered a verse about an unborn not being alive for so many weeks until blood actually enters it.  I't'd be a great line to throw at the so-called pro-life groups.

That's not in the Bible. That was written by St Francis. There is a verse that requires you to pay so many shekels to the husband/owner if you strike a woman and she has a stillborn. More, obviously, if it was male because nothing says God's love like bronze age misogyny.

Found it.  It's Leviticus 17:11 "For the life of the flesh is in the blood"

Granted that's only a couple of weeks, but it's better than, "Life begins at conception."

It's also, incidentally, the verse on which the Jehova's Witnesses base their refusal of blood transfusions. Well, not that one, the next one, but it's all the same.

Actually, the funny thing is, arbitrary skepticism is one of the most common tropes that can be applied to most people in real life.

Turns out, someone can believe in purple polka-dotted guardian dragons that are invisible and sleep in your hair and not necessarily believe in a sky daddy.

Nah, they just go into prayer-mode at the computer and go "Dear God, by your divine grace, please show this sinner your rightness -- I mean righteousness.  Amen."

I assume.  That's what I would've done if I told someone I would pray for them when I was a fundie.

RR freaks out about the statue of Satan being built in Oklahoma.

Thread (http://rr-bb.com/showthread.php?191508-Satanists-show-off-their-new-statue-design-for-the-OK-government-building)

A few of my favorite quotes:

Quote
There's a video of Madonna performing at a superbowl halftime show. There's a portion of the act in which she poses as baphomet. It's chilling to watch as you realize how many people are there watching...and watching on tv...what appears to be some sort of satanic ritual or something.

Quote
Madonna is being glorified as the priestess of the entertainment industry. She's into occultic kabballah and all these pop stars go through the same metamorphisis... good girl gone bad.... sex kitten programming... it is very ritualisitic and everything is a symbol meant to convey a message or represent some form of darkness. It is very evil.

Quote
Now, all he needs is the temple to go along with it, and an altar to represent all the millions of innocent babies that have been sacrificied to him by abortion.

What a shame that statue won't be built, because Oklahomans are pussies.*

*Please forgive me for using a word that could be considered a slur word against effeminate or emotional men, whom are considered "gay"; where men are supposed to be tough, excessively masculine bullies. Fuck that.

The Homosexual Agenda: RR is on the case!

Quote
I was thinking last night, that maybe satan is working so hard to promote the epidemic of homosexual behaviour because he knows that when it increases to a certain point, God will have to send judgement as He did on Sodom and Gomorrah.

But the church has to be gone first and satan is probably very impatient for that to happen so he can get his plans underway.

It's not as if satan can affect God's timing with his manipulation, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was thinking this way.

Quote
Quote
My big thing is that I think the homosexual agenda is a diversion. It's the devil trying to make a something out of a nothing. [Followed by more blabbering.]

I respectfully disagree that "Homosexuality" is making something out of nothing. Homosexuality is "something", it is NOT "nothing". Maybe Satan thinks it is "Something from Nothing" but our God does not, Satan is striking right at one of the core beliefs of our God. Our precious Word of God clearly stands against such perverted acts. Homosexuality today has drawn a hard line between those who agree with it or/and practice it and those who stand wholly against it. We have rarely had an agenda that so readily divided the people. Satan hates all people believers and unbelievers, but he has an agenda to take as many people to "hell" with him as possible. Satan has successfully drawn this line and has successfully persuaded governments and peoples of all sizes and shapes to accept his agenda and push it hard all those who do not accept it, thus exposing "True Christians" as haters. Since the days of Moses the people (all people) have accepted the "Ten Commandments" as being a moral code and standard to live by as presented by the one true God. Never has a hard line been drawn on any of the Ten Commandments, it has been accepted that breaking any of the Ten Commandments is wrong and their are harsh consequences, but since we are sinners we fail, we fall, however, a hard core line has never been drawn as to parse out and expose the haters of the commandments vs believers of the commandments. Homosexuality has drawn that line. Those on the Satanic side of that line will suffer Sodom and Gomorrah style deaths to the FULL DELIGHT of Satan, those on the other side will be spared the wrath to come. Thus Satan will do everything in his deceptive power to expose the "haters" of homosexuality, that they may be exposed, persecuted and potentially persuaded to join the Satanic camp prior to the wrath of God being poured out, while he has time.

So YES homosexuality is something... and it is a huge abomination towards our wonderful, precious glorious God in heaven. Which side are you on?

"God's core beliefs"? Aside from the fact that a god can't really have "beliefs", only absolute knowledge, I'm pretty sure who you're screwing didn't receive anywhere near as much emphasis as the "love thy neighbour" and "do unto others" stuff Jesus was so fond of talking about.

Then they get into an argument about whether gay rights are significant to the end times, some guy angrily storms off, and this is said:

Quote
Don't run off over a disagreement with the brethren, Freddy. Don't you see that's exactly how Satan works?

Satan: The source of internet flame wars.

Quote
There is a poster of a stream in a canyon: Persistence. That is satan's method.

Every little attack on God's Word, by themselves appears as nothing.

But like water eroding a mountain, every issue: Evolution, homosexuality,.... erodes man's ability to trust in His Truth.

They add up to godlessness.

That's deep, man.

And finally, some delicious irony:

Quote
Freddy; Theirs an old saying; "Our minds are like parachutes, if their not OPEN, they won't work".

Read the posts here and ask the Holy Spirit to guide your thoughts. It works.

Praying for you,Brother..

You would be an obvious troll account, so that's not really a fair comparison. If you were posing as a different religion, that would be a better case, though I imagine it that how fast you'd get banned would depend on which religion. Muslims & Hindus would probably get banned faster than Jews, for instance.
