History geek hat on Darwin was not around in medieval times and I don't think the word feminist was invented.
Probably replace Darwin with Astronomy.
What is, is not; what is not, is.

I think the cartoon is saying that the GOP is bringing us back to medieval times by rejecting them, I'm sure the person who drew the cartoon knows that Darwin wasn't around, neither was the word feminist.

This is becoming a trend.

I'd be more sympathetic if people here didn't act like they knew what they were saying when they were saying something very much wrong.

I'm having trouble finding those last two funny. Kristine's is disturbing, and Lexikon's just tells us what we already know, and nothing else.

Political cartoons have to be funny?
Mockery of ideas you don't comprehend or understand is the surest mark of unintelligence.

I know this point is somewhat hackneyed, but since when was Jesus white?

The party's name is the Democratic Party. It has been since 1830. Please spell correctly.

If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say somewhere around the Crusades.  Least, it'd make sense to me as a propaganda tool.  The last thing you want your soldiers thinking is that their primary religious figure was of the culture you're actively trying to destroy.

Jesus is whatever color the people who live there are.  No really look at Our Lady of Guadalupe and in Japan Mary is a Geisha
