Title: Rates for writers?

Does anyone know what a typical rate for an entry level writer is? I've got a friend who wants me to write up a bio for her website, and pay me, but I don't know what a reasonable price is. I do some writing for another website (sporadically at the moment), so I'm not wholly inexperienced, but that site set a flat rate per article. I'm having trouble finding what the typical charge is for a one time job. Can anyone help me out, here?
