These are my swords. Middle one is sharpened, tempered, etc., Celtic Short sword. Fits me like a glove. The left is a replica gladius. The right is replica centurion.

I'm currently eyeing another sword on Kult of Athena. A flamberge.

I don't own any swords yet, but I want to.  I've been interested on and off, but really got into it when Epic Weapons released this badass beauty:



My dream sword though is a custom made katana with a wolf face carved/molded into/onto each side on the end of the hilt.

Am thinking of getting the Katzbalger for when I return to Landsknecht reenactment.

They have nice lightweight weapons that can take a lot of punishment, when you see how reenactment events in the UK, Russia and mainland Europe go, this is definitely a plus!

I've always wanted a scimitar  or a cutlass with the engraving شفرة الإيمان (Sword of Faith.) on the blade, but I don't have the money or the people willing to help me get the swords I want which sucks.

They're a little hit and miss, actually. Some of their swords are really good, but others, not so much. Their longer swords (like my claymore) tend to be overly flexible, for example, but it's generally thought that their one-handed swords are generally quite good.

Cool. I can only handle shorter swords. S'why I went after the gladius and the celtic shortsword.

I wanted to get a basket hilt claymore like Scotty from TOS wielded but it'd be pure decorative and even non-combat ready they're a bit pricy.

I really need to get a proper longsword though.  And paired short swords.  Greatsword would be nice too.

May l suggest to you an Arab sword? Lightweight, fairly short, decently thin, and a curved blade for quicker easier draw.

Do you have any specific one in mind? I thought they had multiple different kinds. And if you can point me to a good site I'll look into it.
