I could watch it from the Colbertnation. I was suprised that he went to jokes so quickly but I still think it was done in good taste.

It was more or less jokes meant to uplift the people affected by the tragedy, rather than going "nothing is sacred" and making fun of them for being bombed.

That is why Colbert is a successful comedian, and others are not.

I watched this as it was aired last night.
And I was simply amazed at how well he managed to present this.
The way he looked at the cameras, the look of total honesty in his face.
These all reminded me why I am proud to be Amercian.
Now if only the elected officals could do that.
