Guess the movie by the plot hole...
« on: February 26, 2012, 03:24:13 pm »
Trying out a new game here.  Identify the movie by the plot hole,  Anachronisms, massive factual error, etc.  Then place your own.  This would be for those that watch way too many movies such as myself.

The Colonel states that he has been given diamond mine concessions as payment for his mercenary services, therefore there is no reason for him to chase one diamond, albeit a large one. (Plot Hole)

Blood diamond. Thank you IMDB.

Despite there being giant robots, cyborgs, and artificial intelligence, there is no anesthesia ("anachronism").
I'd be more sympathetic if people here didn't act like they knew what they were saying when they were saying something very much wrong.

That movie with Jude Law...whose name I can't recall.  PS I wrote that for IMDB based on another Plot Hole in the Goofs section.

It's Star Wars III

An easy one:  Humans used as a source of energy despite mechanical overlords having fusion reactors.

The Matrix

Main character was crucified instead of dying in battle (factual error)

Aliens can hack entire US defense network but can't hack ebay (or paypal for that matter).

Yes.

It wasn't until 1981 when someone sacrificed themselves for a loved one.

Are we supposed to use plot holes or just goofs?
