Am I the only one who thinks they don't want a deaf student and they are doing this to get around ADA?

Fuck, I got in trouble for drawing a stick figure war during my downtime in class.  Thankfully, my dad put the motherfuckers in their place, and gently reminded them that, the next time they pulled a stunt like that, he'd personally shove his foot up each and every one of their asses.

Eh, it seems more likely that they're just being anal-retentive about the rules. Schools have pulled similar crap with non-deaf kids.

Really?  Damn... back in HS and even middle school, a friend of mine and I would draw stick figure craziness that would make stickdeath.com (at least I think that's the addy) look very tame by comparison.  Teachers just thought we were being stupid kids.  Which we were.
