I'm...kinda worried that I'll end up on a slew of government watchlists if I try searching for it, but I've been to a site that tells you, in detail, how to cook human flesh.

Well, I certainly can't blame you.

By the way, if you a fan of the song "What's Up" by 4 Non Blonds, dance re-mixes of songs, and He-Man, then this website is definitely for you.

The Heaven's Gate site is still up because somebody is paying for it to stay up. Why anybody would pay for it to stay up is beyond me. Cults are just sad.

There was one guy that backed out a week or so before the suicides, he is the one paying for the site.

Quote
Only one of the group's members, Rio DiAngelo/Richard Ford, did not kill himself: weeks before the suicides, in December 1996, DiAngelo agreed with Applewhite to leave the group so he could ensure future dissemination of Heaven's Gate videos and literature. He videotaped the mansion in Rancho Santa Fe; however, the tape was not shown to police until 2002, five years after the event.

Nobody link to the SCP...
There is light and darkness in the world, to be sure.  However, there's no harm to be had in walking in the shade or shadows.

Who could forget Time Cube?

If you're looking for a big ball of crazy, look no further.

Of course, someone's already catalogued a whole load of these, including this.

If you all can stomach more crazy, try Sherry Shriner's website or her web rival Pastor Harry for good measure.

Of course, someone's already catalogued a whole load of these, including this.

Funny, this site also claims to be the "end of the internet" as well.

How do you actually do that one? It seems to be just a static image for me.

Though also on that list is Alter Ego, which is surprisingly addictive. I remember playing it years ago, now... http://www.playalterego.com/alterego
