Woman pulls gun on man installing a "smart meter"
« on: July 19, 2012, 03:53:52 pm »
So this woman from Texas pulls a gun on an electric company employee installing a "smart meter" that she felt uncomfortable and that the meters were and intrusion into her privacy.

I got two links:

My initial reaction was "Wow, this woman is batshit" but then I thought about it and, damn it to hell, I am now conflicted. I mean I can see exactly how this is a case of disproportionate escalation, but at the same time if she was to remain passive or to go through the "proper channels," he would have kept on installing something she didn't want and by then she'd never get the old meter back.

Like I said, I'm conflicted, but I'm glad no one got hurt.
