My condolences go out to his numerous victims: to Shirley Sherrod, forced to resign because of his lies; to the employees and clients of ACORN, who lost the certainty of 'voting privileges' as a planned result of his propaganda; to the honest journalists who's work was ignorantly pilliaried and who's persons were often slandered; to Democrats, who constantly lived in fear they'd be the next target of his dishonest ire; to Barack Obama, was was always it's target. And, above all, the American people- white, black, women and men, gay and straight- all of whom have suffered under his conservative vision of a state run for a few, by a few in the interests of a few.
I think Andrew's best eulogy takes the form of his own words (about Tedd Kennedy, an hour after the Democratic senator died):
he was "a special pile of human excrement", Andrew Breitbart's entire life's work was destroying members of the other tribe, a task at which the "duplicitous bastard" was unusually capable. In his 16 years of publishing, Andrew has proven himself an absolute "prick" and a "villain" with no conscience. We mourn his passing and hope we never see the like again.
