Warning, if you never played the original (which Kiwami is a remake of), the ending is a helluva feels train.

I'm not surprised.  Zero was insanely feels-y; if Kiwami wasn't, I'd be disappointed.  Hell, bits of the Majima Everywhere system are feels-y, and that's taking into account the fact that you're practically facing a Joker Lite with a baseball bat that breakdances.

Excuse me, sir, do you have a minute to talk about your lord and savior, Hannibal Barca?

Yeah, if the pagans are so smart, why did Jesus invade Pagan-land on the back of a dragon and kill them all!

I am thoroughly enjoying how much FF VIII takes the whole "kids save the world" trope and applies the actual psychological effects it'd have on a child's psyche, effectively fucking the whole cliche nice and hard.

Gotta love the nod and wink design cues taken from Dynasty Warriors. Also, this makes so much sense that I'm surprised it hasn't happened sooner.

Ever been so stuck in a game, that you resorted to playing with a kinda-sorta dead guy's nipple?

Subnautica has just launched for realsies. I've had my eye on it for quite a while now, and now that it's out of Early Access, I decided to grab it. I must say, I'm quite looking forwards to playing with submarines and underwater bases.

I've been watching Subnautica let's plays for a while. It looks pretty and the basebuilding in it seems nice but I'm not sure my computer would run it very well.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel is... long. And largely unremarkable. I mean, it's perfectly fine and there's plenty to like, but it is absolutely nothing I haven't seen before.
