I remember you Alehksunos. Like Spaceprog said lots of folk have come and gone or just been less active occasionally, same thing happens on every forum.

I was wondering where you'd gone.

@KanzlerImaginos - Feel free to drop me a line.

Thanks. I've indeed wanted to be gone for a while, I just hadn't found the right time to return. To be honest I for a while felt like I was unwelcome, but that's me, feeling like a stick in the mud.

I feel that way a lot too.  I think it's probably my depression talking, mostly.   If it helps any, for what it's worth, I never had any problem with you, and you're very welcome here from where I stand.

Do you count as a newbie when you've been gone for 2 years?

For those with whom I've fallen out of touch, here's a rough timeline of what happened:
7/2013: Make plans to move in with my awesome Jewish boyfriend.  Parents flip the fuck out over UNMARRIED COHABITATION and act like the Manbeast is only after money and a soft warm place to stick his Kosher dill.  They make an ultimatum.  Manbeast responds by formally proposing marriage.  Parents continue to flip the fuck out.
8/2013: I cave to my parents' emotional abuse and move back in with them.   This is a VERY BAD MOVE.
9/2013: I can't take it anymore and move in with the Manbeast on Labor Day weekend, while my parents are on a cruise.
8/2014: I GOT MARRIED WHOOO!
Now: Knitting, spending too much time online, and waiting for a BJD to arrive from Korea (the cool one, not the place where human rights to to die).

Yooo y'all.

I decided to give FQA another shot. I've been a on-and-off lurker here (like, before the split) but I made an account because I was going through some shit and needed to let it out. So I did, and it was really helpful, you guys were awesome! But I never followed up on it. So I've been taking better care of myself for a while, and I kinda wanna be a part of the community now. You know, to talk about all the shit that my friends are never interested in, basically. Also it feels weird knowing you guys but you not knowing me.

I'm new...net new.  I found this place because I've become a regular on FSTDT.com and got reading lots of the comments, saw that there were regular people and wondered if there was a forum where the all congregated.  I was pointed here.

I live in Canada.  I'm 48 (but I'm extremely immature for 48).  Agnostic but not sure if theist or atheist, I never understood the finer points of how that definition is supposed to work.  I'm a musician.  Pet peeve is fundamentalists.

Welcome, Mr Pine!  What instruments do you play?
