Title: Another Democratic lawmaker receiving death threats

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA 28th), the ranking member on the House Intelligence Committee, is reporting that his office has been receiving death threats over the Devin Nunes memo.

I await the cease-and-desist letters he will be sending out to those calling his office with these threats; after all, we've already established that the use of "cunt" is enough to trigger such, and death threats are surely worse.

The hell are you talking about?  Far as I know, that was a Republican who sent those letters to constituents who wanted answers.

My point is, if a member of Congress will send out letters over that (and, yes, some people were calling his staffers "cunts"), then surely Adam Schiff would be justified in sending cease-and-desist letters to people who are phoning in death threats to his office.

The problem is that the moment a Democrat sends out a cease and desist for any legitimate reason, the Republicans and their voters will jump on them and accuse them of refusing to listen to their constituents, despite their complete silence at Ron Johnson and Tom Cotton using cease and desist letters against people with legitimate grievances.

The Republican I was referring to was Tom Cotton.

That's right. It was Johnson and Cotton, not Toomey.
