 "People have this picture in their minds of a person planning to -- a psychopath. But that's not the case. Suppose you have a man having a nervous breakdown, and a youngster comes after him. A lot of the cases, the youngster -- 14, 16, 18 -- is the seducer."  DARVO at it's finest.  I don't even know what to say to this.   Yes, the child is trying to seduce the man.  Stop defending this.  The day after posting this stupidity, somebody realized it and pulled it down.  Now the priest is saying he misspoke.  "My mind and my way of expressing myself are not as clear as they used to be."  There is still no excuse for this from the Catholic Church.

Not that there aren't a couple of fucked-up teens and preteens out there, but if these account for any nonnegligible fraction of paedophilia cases, I'll eat a broom.
