If Dominions 3 is the game I'm thinking of, it's staggeringly complex. But I could be thinking of another game entirely.

Holy crap...am I the only one who read that as "Dominoes 3" and almost audibly WTFd?

I would play a video game based entirely off setting up ridiculously-complex domino patterns and knocking them down.

DC Universe is a free to play, I think, which means there's no risk to trying it out beyond time spent downloading. I don't know about the others, though.

Regarding Skyrim, there's a free DLC on Steam that is a 3GB hi-def texture pack.

All three are f2p, although they all carry limitations with it.

So why not try each of them out for an hour or two and see which one you like the best?

Champions blows colorfull chunks, COH I paid for almost 5 years and DC online is kinda meh on power combinations since so much ties back to primary heros. DC Is quite cool looking though. I'm definintely playing favorites, but COH was still the better of them last time I went around to play them. I've just run out of power combinations I enjoy playing, though it did take 5 years to do that.

That said, the FTP restrictions on DC and COH only really limit how many characters you have. Champions, they limit you to pre-defined power sets, which isn't horrific, but is kinda boring.

So I bought a copy of Mass Effect 2 (XBox 360) because it was in Sainsbury's post Christmas sale for something silly - £8, I think. I had not played the original and was pretty ignorant as to the scenario - but I remembered reading a review a few months ago and the concept seemed quite interesting.

I'm about 12 hours into the story arc and I'm thoroughly enjoying it! I've just bought the original from eBay...

I've got Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning now. Some of the items that were supposed to be unlocked won't be until Valentine's day. What was the ruddy point of pre-ordering then?
