One Million Moms is boycotting Toys R' Us because they carry an issue of Archie comics where a gay character gets...MARRIED!

Isn't it so nice when bigots just don't want to answer their children's questions?  There's a quote from their website that basically boils down to just that.  They don't want to answer little Jimmy or little Suzy asking why two men, an interracial couple at that, are getting married in Archie.

Didn't work for Macy's, didn't work for JCPenny, ain't working against GSUSA. Frankly, I think One Million Moms just grandstanding now.

So the message of A Million Dumb Moms is if your store doesn't hate and ostracize gay folk like they do, they won't shop there. Good to know. I doubt Toys 'R' Us want their dirty business anyway.

Toys R Us doesn't dislike OMM. Their money spends just as good as anyone else's. Were you going for they won't miss it? I'd be willing to bet if anything Toys R Us is no minding all the publicity though.

The thing is OMM is trying to use the current economy to control a moral issue.  Problem is as we've seen, people don't give a shit.  They actually want to support gay rights and anyone trying to say "GAYS ARE ICKY!  DON'T SUPPORT THEM!" gets shit on.

Ironbite-the days of squashing gays are over.  Now if only we can drag the rest of the country with us.

Yeah just being hyperbolic. I'm sure they could care less where the money comes from but yeah, I doubt they'd miss it from the "millions" of moms (they should call themselves the Tens of Moms instead lol).

I see them stocked all the time at work. I think they change every week or something.  Sometimes, they're Archie comics, other times their called Betty and Veronica comics or even Jughead comics.

I agree with them in so far as I hate ANY and all "Very Special Episodes."  No matter their topic they all suck, come on remember The West Wing episode "Issac and Ishmael"  Blllllllllllllllllllllllllllllaaaaah.
