Please don't just post a link and a vague comment.
Anyway, he was arrested for physically injuring his daughter during an argument over whether or not she can go to a party.
I was hoping he was arrested for being a thief, but what can you do.

Was this the guy in the news a while back or a new one? There's guy that beat his daughter and it was recorded on a webcam. There was also the guy that went into his daughter room and shot her computer until he ran out of ammo.

This is exactly what I have been thinking from the start. What this guy did is horrible, but this is only the beginning of her nightmare. No matter what else is wrong here, she has to go back and live in that house, and deal with that church community. And it will be worse if she recants or if the authorities decide not to proceed (which may happen, due to the sensationalism now). He won't look at it as having gotten lucky and dodged a bullet. He'll look at it as a win and validation. If anything, he'll get worse.
I really feel bad for that poor girl, and CPS needs to take her out of the situation.
