Improved public transit and proper bike lanes would be nice to see in my city.

That have these things called "ridiculously high fares", which add up very quickly.
I never claimed that they're cheap. Just sayin'.

WA has a lot of bikers but a lot of them seem to think they own the fucking road. They'll become pedestrians or road vehicles whenever they need to. To all would-be bikers: If you ever make the decision to ride a bike around, don't be a dick about it and swerve in front of everyone else's car.

Seattle is a public transit nightmare because of its hourglass shape. There's a bottleneck at the bridge, and lots of people who need to get across. From what I understand, they're trying to encourage people to use the bus by putting insanely high tolls on the bridge. ::)

This kind of thing, as well as the drivers who act like idiots around bikers, is part of why I'd like to see bike lanes become standard for roads.

Here in Calgary, one of the biggest issues is urban sprawl, and the public transit system has struggled to keep up as a result. Add to that the fact that we're in bad need of c-train expansion, particularly in the south. Here's a map of the current legs: http://crosspointechurch.ca/images/ctrainMap.gif -- notice how we have only one leg to service the rapidly expanding southern half of the city?

Good lordy the MPG on those flying cars must be horrible. Also, DEATH FROM ABOVE!
Despite knowing about indoctrination I thought it was a good idea to put a human Reaper near my office. Now I am a sentient husk :(.
