Two of them aren't necessarily false, just almost certainly false. You could argue that banning the heroin crop WAS a good move by Al Qaeda (though motivated more by a nanny-like opposition to the alleged fun of drugs like heroin and codeine* than a serious desire to prevent harm). What he's implying, though, is that their destruction of Afghanistan's poppy crop in some way ameliorates their, you know, fucking mass murder. In a sense they're 'sort of awesome', in that not every single thing they did was unbelievably terrible.
Also, the hearing voices thing isn't necessarily a sign of crazyness. If someone could prove that they were hearing voices from god, they wouldn't be crazy. But nobody can.
* As I'm sure many on this site can attest, codeine ain't much fun. But it's a opiate.
