Iowa passes "fetal heartbeat" bill

The Iowa Legislature has passed a bill to ban abortion once a fetal heartbeat can be detected, usually around six weeks.

The Governor is expected to sign the bill into law (if she hasn't already).

Legislators intend this as a direct challenge to Roe v. Wade.
