Tunisia appears to be officially a democracy

Basically they appear to be moving away from Sharia law so it looks like the country is stable now

Notice the gender of all the people who want Sharia in the associated pic. Notice, however, that all other peace rallies in the middle east, like Yemen, aren't all male. In fact, the ones in Yemen was lead by a women.

Possibly. I was just making a note. One of the lessons in the recent waves of protests throughout the world is that is just needs women and women involvement in order to progress. That these men want to government to establish Sharia, which is antithesis to women's involvement and rights, says to me they just want regression and less peace. Kudos to the Islamist Ennahda party for moving away from Sharia because doing so would establish longer term peace.
That may be the single gayest thing I have ever read on this board. Or the old one. ;)

I am going to say if the party that is right wing gets the majority in fair election then it happens you know democaracy.

I understand still this is  much better then even much of easterrn europe
