Motorcity and Detroit

With the recent problems at Detroit, I was suddenly reminded of the short-lived Disney XD cartoon I was into last year.

I wonder if this is what we could call Harsher in Hindsight?

We just want more details on what you're talking about O_o

Because I have no idea what you're referring to specifically.  I can't connect the cartoon intro with some vague statement about something that might be happening in Detroit.
Mockery of ideas you don't comprehend or understand is the surest mark of unintelligence.

Basically, Motorcity is a story about a derelict Detroit, called Motorcity, that has a new, futuristic city Detroit Deluxe built on top of it. Unfortunately, the city is ruled by Abraham Kane (Abe Kane for short, if you get the reference), a tyrant obsessed with control over his citizens and the complete destruction of Motorcity, as well as forcing its inhabitants to live under his rule. Thus, a few rebels and resistance fighters in Motorcity fight back against him and his army of soldiers and robots as well as keep Motorcity safe as much as they can despite how rundown their home is.

Don't think this as some Hot Wheels clone of a show, this is a dang good series.
