I can't wait for them to start trying to reinstate Levitical laws, particularly all the crimes that call for stoning. I wonder how long it'll take them to start nailing people who protest to crosses.

If you look at it logically, cannibalism has great potential to simultaneously solve our overpopulation and food shortage problems.

This seems to be a trend, organizations with the word "Family" in them seem to be nutty right-wing christian groups.

Yeah, it's gotten to the point where any org with "family", "liberty", or "patriot" in the name gets an automatic side-eye until proven sane.

These people like natural law so much, why don't we leave them in the middle of a forest, in the territory of a pack of hungry wolves.

Then let's see how they like actual natural law.

In my city, the Supreme Court was once burnt down. The dude who did it left graffiti or a note or some such behind. It read: "Judge not lest ye be judged".

It seems to me that even he actually had a more consistent judicial philosophy than these assholes.

The party's name is the Democratic Party. It has been since 1830. Please spell correctly.

"The party must go wholly one way or wholly the other. It cannot face in both directions at the same time."

Then let's see how they like actual natural law.

To these people, "natural law" essentially means "something that justifies my belief that all the things I dislike are inherently evil and all the things I like are inherently good".

Convenient aspects of natural law include:

  • Not written down anywhere!
  • If someone disagrees with you, they are obviously wrong and it's a fundamental character flaw rather than a difference of opinion!
  • It never challenges your intuitions!
  • You never have to experience the uncomfortable feeling that your ideas just might be wrong or that society has evolved past your primitive notions of morality!

Oklahoma seems to be a magnet to those with marginal IQ's.
I am an old man, and I've seen many problems, most of which never happened.

Can't we just agree that the United States in general is a country of high ideals and low IQs?

Remember, most of Utah is only one letter away from "moron".
History is full of maniacs, my friend, men and women of intelect, highly perceptive individuals, who's brilliant minds know neither restraint nor taboo. Such notions are the devils we must slay for the edification of pony-kind. Even if said edification means violating the rules of decency, society, and rightousness itself.
