On the afternoon of April 3rd 2018 a disgruntled youtuber shot up Youtube Headquarters in San Bruno California. She injured 3 employees and the only confirmed fatality was herself.
Her web presence has been mostly deleted now, but her channels revolved mostly around bizarre & surreal "commercials", music video parodies, bodybuilding, health food and Vegan/Animal Rights/PETA activism. She was upset that youtube was de-monitizing her content and went on a tirade about the new algorithms 'censoring' her content, calling the video sharing platform another form of "dictatorship".

2 of the victims have been discharged and are recovering at home, while the one repotrted as being in "critical" condition was upgraded to serious condition and is also recovering.
edit: yes its a duplicate, I already reported it to the mods a day ago and am waiting for a lock/deletion.

Always shitty when this happens, but glad there weren't too many deaths.
