“While I remain concerned about Senate action on the Protect IP Act, I am confident that flawed legislation will not be taken up by this House,” Issa said in a statement. “Majority Leader Cantor has assured me that we will continue to work to address outstanding concerns and work to build consensus prior to any anti-piracy legislation coming before the House for a vote.

It's been shelved but the possibility that it will come back is high.

I see your nickel and raise you a dime that they do leave SOPA in the dust and instead start claiming PIPA (SOPA's evil cousin) as the one to back since it isn't as draconian and could be considered some kind of compromise to SOPA. 

Though note yes I believe both bills need to be shredded and never brought up again....if only.

Dumbledore can see thru invisibility cloaks. He can't see thru polyjuice. I'm just being a Harry Potter pedant though.

No. But he is a world-class legillimens and all around freakishly good judge of character. Additionally, the real Moody was someone he worked very closely with before. Even without magic, Dumbledore should have been able to pick out plenty of inconsistencies in Crouch’s performance. Except that Crouch was that damn good and had next-to-no inconsistencies.

And that’s all the rest I am going to say on that lest we make this a full-on Potter derail.

I say the collective force of the internet goes to DC and smacks these fuckers around with dongs till they learn what the fuck they're whining about.

I guess in a way it shows how much needs to be changed in DC, so many of these grade A douchnozzle politicians have been surfing on their seats for decades and need to be replaced by people that are at least up with the times.
