Apparently there's like a crap ton of weapons just lying around so it's not too obnoxious.  And it's not like weapon degregation hasn't been in games before.  Fallout 3 and New Vegas had it and I kinda miss that in 4.

Ironbite-was a neat mechanic that made weapons actually mean something other then vendor trash.

In Fallout 3 and New Vegas, you could repair them yourself fairly trivially, and they didn't degrade so quickly that you went through at least three per fight (forcing you to pause the game to select a new weapon each time). From what I've heard so far, even end game weapons have the durability of paper mache, and fixing it requires you to trek back to the nearest smith and pay to get it reforged. Seems like a fantastic way to completely ruin the flow of the game, if you ask me.

Dunno bout that.  I haven't heard anything bad about the game and I run in some fairly Nintendo-heavy circles.

Now for a game that isn't Nintendo, Nier: Automata is amazing.  Just amazing.

Ironbite-everything about it is great.

While it kicked my arse last time, I have to say that the Courier's Mile really isn't that bad if you prepare for it. T-51b power armour plus modded gattling laser plus 100 energy weapons skill plus all the energy weapons related perks means all of those irradiated deathclaws and marked men can't touch you. Didn't even use any chems. The secret is to abandon the idea of anything fancy like sneaking around and sniping and go all in on raw DPS.

In unrelated news, I've got my hands on the Yooka-Laylee "toybox" demo. Not that I ever expected any different, but it really is Banjo-Kazooie in all but name. Tuesday is going to be a very good day, methinks.

And Banjo-Kazooie was great. I see no issues here
"Politician" is the occupational equivalent of "Florida".

Well, it's Shin Megami Tensei. Even Tokyo Mirage Sessions can get tough, despite being far more simplified and fluffier than the rest of the series. This series isn't very forgiving in terms of difficulty.

Oh no, I don't mean difficulty, I mean subject matter.

I must not be far enough in for too much heavy subject matter. I'm stuck trying to find a goddamn password in a goddamn museum.

For those wondering, the code has now been claimed.

I was tempted by the code, but the only things in the bundle I would want are the Darksiders games... and I already have those.

I needed to fill out my PS4 library, and Red Faction (w/ extras) is a fine way to achieve just that.
